overviewSunshine Housing Co-operative and the City of Surrey partnered with CLT in 2020 to relocate and redevelop the co-op.

The new building will increase the number of homes at Sunshine Co-op from 39 to 69 in a six-storey wood frame building that accommodates a diversity of age groups and income levels, creating a vibrant, mixed-income community in Surrey’s city center, with an emphasis on family homes.

We acknowledge that the Sunshine Housing project is located on the unceded traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Katzie, Kwantlen and Semiahmoo First Nations.
