The Washington Co-operative Housing Association offers members 59 homes in the Burnside Gorge neighbourhood of Victoria. The co-op has a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments (in a 38-home apartment building) and 21 pet-friendly townhouses for families. Each townhouse includes a small front yard and fenced back yard connecting to open greenspace and playground within the complex. Pets are allowed in the townhouses only (none in the apartment building) and limited to one dog or cat per household. Washington was acquired by CLT’s charitable society in 2000.
