overview5085 McHardy will be a new six-storey housing co-operative of 102 homes in the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood of Vancouver currently under construction.
The new housing co-op will be built to Passive House standards – a voluntary standard for energy efficiency that reduces a building’s carbon footprint and helps to keep spaces warmer in cold weather and cooler in warmer weather, requiring less energy for heating or cooling.
We acknowledge that 5085 McHardy is located on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
